Dornbusch Associates performed market and financial feasibility services for the City of Martinez (California) marina, as well as an evaluation of the proposed business plan and assisted the City to define and successfully negotiate the terms of a new lease contract. Services included analyzing demand for wet and dry slips and related landside services, regional demand and competition, historical operating expenses, opportunities to increase revenue at the marina, and a detailed financial feasibility of the operation. Dornbusch provided consulting assistance to the City to solicit and evaluate proposals and negotiate a new lease for operation of the Martinez Marina. This assistance included defining terms of the lease that ensured fairness of the contract to both the City and the proposed lessee.
